Consul General Manawi attends tour of Vancouver International Airport

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) invited the Consular Corps of British Columbia, including Mr. Ramin Manawi, Consul General of Afghanistan and numerous other Consuls General, for a series of meetings and a comprehensive tour on February 20, 2025.

The event featured presentations on YVR’s operations, technological advancements, recent innovations, and services available to consulates. The airport’s leadership highlighted YVR’s commitment to digital transformation, exemplified by its award-winning Digital Twin platform—a real-time, interactive virtual representation of the airport’s facilities designed to enhance operational efficiency and passenger experience.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of various sections of YVR, providing attendees with an in-depth understanding of the airport’s infrastructure and services.
