مجمع تجارت سوری به تاریخ 25 اپريل 2025، برنامه ای برای بازدید از صنایع شهر سوری برگزار کرد. آقای رامین معنوى، جنرال قونسل افغانستان در ونکوور، همراه با شماری از مقام های دولتی، مدیران صنایع و نمایندگان نهادهای مهم حوزه ونکوور، بنابر دعوت نهاد مذكور در این برنامه شرکت کرد.
این بازدید، فرصت مناسبی برای آشنایی مستقیم شرکت کنندگان با شماری از برجسته ترین واحدهای صنعتی سوری فراهم آورد و توانمندی های صنعتی، برنامه های توسعه اقتصادی و ظرفیت‌های صادراتی این شهر را به نمایش گذاشت. از جمله مراکز مورد بازدید می‌توان به این موارد اشاره کرد:
• شرکت توليد رنگ کلوردیل – یکی از تولیدکنندگان معتبر رنگ با کیفیت بالا و مساعد به محیط زیست؛
• شرکت توليد تجهیزات ماونتين/كوه – فروشگاه پیشتاز در زمینه فروش لوازم فضای باز که متعهد به مسئولیت پذیری زیست محیطی و توسعه اجتماعی ميباشد؛
• شرکت ساخت فولاد سالید راک – یکی از شرکت‌های تخصصی در ساخت سازه های فولادی برای پروژه های بزرگ زیربنایی در منطقه؛
• پارک صنعتی انویل – محلی برای رشد شرکت‌های نوآور و توسعه فعالیت‌های صنعتی.
این بازدید با برگزاری یک ضیافت چاشت و سخنرانی چند تن از شخصیت‌های برجسته به پایان رسید. در این مراسم، آقای اندرو وین ویلیامز، معاون بخش برتیش کلمبیا در انجمن تولیدکنندگان و صادرکنندگان کانادا، به عنوان سخنران اصلی حضور داشت و درباره فرصت‌ها و چالش‌های موجود در بخش‌های تولیدی و صادراتی مطالب ارزشمندی ارائه کرد.
همچنین خانم جاسلین یانگ، مدیر ارشد اجرایی اتاق تجارت سوری، در سخنرانی خود ضمن اشاره به رشد سریع اقتصادی سوری، بر تلاش‌های این شهر در جهت ترویج نوآوری و گسترش فعالیت‌های اقتصادی تأکید نمود.

The Surrey Board of Trade (SBOT) organized a tour of Surrey’s industries on April 25, 2025. Mr. Ramin Manawi Consul General of Afghanistan attended the event alongside government officials, industry leaders, and representatives of major institutions from across the Vancouver area.
The tour provided participants with direct insights into several of Surrey’s leading businesses, highlighting the city’s industrial strength, economic development strategies, and export capabilities. Key sites visited during the tour included:
• Cloverdale Paint Corp. – A major Canadian manufacturer known for its high-quality and sustainable paint products;
• Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) – A leading outdoor gear and apparel retailer, committed to environmental responsibility and community development;
• Solid Rock Steel Fabricating Co. Ltd. – A specialized steel fabricator supporting major infrastructure projects across the region;
• 130 Street/Anvil Business Park – A growing hub for innovative enterprises and industrial development.
The tour concluded with a luncheon where attendees heard from distinguished speakers. Mr. Andrew Wynn-Williams, Divisional Vice President for British Columbia at Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, delivered the keynote address, offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the manufacturing and export sectors.
Additionally, Ms. Joslyn Young, Chief Executive Officer of the Surrey Board of Trade, addressed participants, emphasizing Surrey’s rapid transformation into one of British Columbia’s leading economic centers and highlighting the city’s commitment to fostering business innovation and growth.
