On this occasion of Canada Day, we at the Consulate General of Afghanistan, extend our warmest greetings to all Canadians, especially to the Afghan-Canadian community in British Columbia and across Canada. Today, we come together to celebrate the core values that make Canada a land of opportunity, inclusivity, and unity.

We are grateful for Canada's unwavering support and assistance to the people of Afghanistan, particularly through its refugee programs. Canada's generosity in welcoming Afghan refugees has provided countless individuals and families with a chance to rebuild their lives in safety and peace. This act of compassion has strengthened the bond between our nations.

On this occasion, we also pay tribute to the enduring bond between the people of Afghanistan and Canada. We recognize the valiant efforts and sacrifices of countless brave individuals from both nations who have stood together in the defense of our common values.
